Braedon Acuña is a visual artist born in Edmonton, Alberta. He does ink and digital illustration, design, and printmaking. His original work employs visual features of the horror and fantasy genres, depicting demons, knights, mythical creatures and their human victims in a high-contrast and decorative style. Braedon repurposes historical and cultural symbols to give his work a pseudo-religious tone, and often emulates medieval artwork as well as later woodcut and steel engraving styles.

His early illustration experience came from making show posters, zines, and other DIY projects which evolved into a deep love of the creative process and the satisfaction of long hours spent creating something entirely made-up for its own sake.
